Methods of User Participation in the development of information systems: A structured literature review
This paper provides a systematic literature review on methods of user participation in
information systems development. Current approaches and methods are defined and
existing classifications of these methods are described. Based on the results, a
classification of participatory methods according to the purpose is suggested. Finally
in a discussion the most suitable methods for a particular purpose are identified built
on the suggested classification.
