The social semantic web for innovation

 The thesis shall investigate how the social semantic web can be used for supporting the innovation process. In detail it shall analyze the existing approaches to supporting open innovation in a web 2.0 setting and identify shortcomings of such technologies. A system shall be designed which mitigates the shortcomings by combining web ontologies with interactive innovation platforms.
