In the year 2000, the Budapest University of Economic Sciences, the College of Public Administration merged, forming the new Corvinus University of Budapest. As result of the integration process of the past few years, the University of Horticulture and Food Industry joint the Corvinus University. Tday, around 17.422 students and 873 teaching staff work and learn at the Corvinus University of Budapest.
As Budapest represents the Capital of Hungary there are lots of places to visit besides University. Sightseeing, nightlife as well as special seasonal attractions offer a fundamental basis for student´s activities. Students who are interested in Hungary and especially in the Corvinus University of Budapest should be content to stay for one year abroad as those are preferred in the application process.
