Each year, the award ceremony of the Schoeller Research Center for Business and Society brings outstanding researchers to Nuremberg. Wi1 used this opportunity to host a meeting between FAU staff and international guests to discuss the digital transformation of economy and its consequences for the way how we will work in the future. Among others, the list of participants included the Schöller Senior Fellows Samir Chatterjee, Carol Saunders and Shirley Gregor.
The lively and inspiring discussion was followed by an academic city walk though Nuremberg to discover the long-term trajectories of scientific progress and industrial change from the history of academia, innovation and creativity in the city. Furthermore, the guests visited the new entrepreneurship centre ZOLLHOF and learned about its joint activities with the university. Numerous FAU researchers participated in the events, setting foundation for interesting collaborations in the near future.
